Satuna

Introduced in 1970 by the Dutch automotive manufacturer DAF, Satuna is a subtle blue-grey hue. The brand’s distinctive practice of assigning unique, sometimes slightly odd names to its shades is unusual in automotive history and reflects a conceptual approach to both color and design.
Deliberately presented without a frame, the work underscores material purity and minimalism, with the artist’s signature in the lower right corner as its only visible mark.
